Mission and Values

• NZCMS seeks to inform, inspire and mobilise the Church for the mission of God both in New Zealand and overseas
• We are Christ centred and people focused; our passion is to encourage, equip and partner with people as they seek to serve God in mission
• We seek to serve the least, last and the lost using creative and relevant models
• We are dedicated to raising the next generation of gospel workers to impact the nations for Christ; passing on the rich legacy of the gospel is a priority for us

Purpose

To glorify God by faithfully bearing witness to the gospel of Christ in the world. NZCMS seeks to follow the five marks of mission identified by the Anglican Communion:

• To proclaim the good news of the Kingdom
• To teach, baptise and nurture new believers
• To respond to human need by loving service
• To seek to transform unjust structures of society
• To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth
