NZCMS and Anglican Missions work in partnership to send missionaries from New Zealand to the world. For more than a century, Anglican Missions has fundraised and provided resources to send missionaries through NZCMS. Anglican Missions works to enable the Anglican Church in Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia to engage in mission through funding Mission Partners, supporting aid and development projects, and coordinating appeals for emergencies (primarily in our neighboring Pacific countries.)
NZCMS works in relationship with churches and local Christians to see the Gospel of Jesus proclaimed around the world. We are a sending organisation, which means that rather than setting up organisations overseas, we send people as Mission Partners — such as teachers, medical staff, church workers and theology lecturers. These Mission Partners in turn serve with our partners around the world — other networks which fit with the vision of NZCMS.
