We believe in short-term teams. There is so much poten­tial for mean­ing­ful impact and trans­form­a­tion for a group of people coming together to under­stand and par­ti­cip­ate in God’s mission in the world.

NZCMS helps churches and Dioceses develop a clear mission and discipleship pathway for short-term teams. We have loads of experience in training and coaching groups who are considering cross-cultural ministry in Aotearoa or globally.

Our Team Training Manual is intended to help leaders plan, pray and implement everything that is necessary for a team to flourish through a cross-cultural encounter.

What we offer

  • Support and coach­ing with leaders to estab­lish the vision and purpose for a cross-cul­tural part­ner­ship, includ­ing helping estab­lish con­nec­tions for part­ner­ships in mission
  • Train­ing for teams: day or weekend train­ing events
  • Train­ing for team leaders (includ­ing logist­ics, mission, cul­tural train­ing and debriefs)
  • Train­ing Manual: Enga­ging cross-cul­tur­ally as teams
